“This project helped me realize I don’t just have a feed production business. I have a business with real impact. Through the Knowledge Sharing Event I attended at the New Brookfields Hotel in 2023, I met partners who believe in what I’m doing. It’s not just about feed. It’s about feeding Sierra Leone's future.”

"The Opportunity Salone project didn’t just grow my business, it transformed it. From producing less than 100 cubes a day to now over 240,000 briquettes a month, we’ve not only saved thousands of trees but created real jobs. The knowledge shared at the training and mentoring from ILO coaches empowered me to lead with purpose and innovate sustainably. The Knowledge Sharing Event is a platform where ideas ignite and lives are changed."

"Opportunity Salone helped me turn a small idea into a green business that now produces over 240,000 briquettes a month. The training and mentorship gave me the tools to grow and lead sustainably. KSE is a space where ideas and impact come together."

"Before joining the project, I was facing challenges just for being a woman in metal work. Today, I run a thriving fabrication business, employ over 22 people, and deliver machines that help farmers feed our nation. The training, support, and visibility from Opportunity Salone helped me rise above bias and turn challenges into strength. KSE is more than an event. It’s where stories like mine find light and inspire others."
